Lunar Astrolabe/Surface of Selene – The 19th Room

I don’t know about you, but I am fascinated with outer space and playing Mystery Manor may be the closest intergalactic experience I will ever have, lol!
Unravel the mystery to solve the secret of Selene’s settlers and finally learn what happened on this distant planet.

This room is sometimes referred to as the Moon or lunar surface.

WARNING:  If you happen to have the “Mechanical Helpers” collection, DO NOT CHARGE IT YET!!!  You are going to need lots of robots as you will see when you read further.

Building Selene

Selene is found on the left of the Space floor. When you click on this room, you will see the following screen entitled “Lunar Astrolabe”:

Now, click on the “Upgrade” button and a new screen will appear, “Drafts of Moonrover”:

You can complete quests to find the drafts or you can buy each one for 10 diamonds a piece and you need 5 of each.  Be very careful not to accidentally hit the “Buy All” button which results in the purchase of all of the drawing/schemes for 500 diamonds!!!   Note:  This screen states that you will not be able to begin finding the drawings/schemes until you complete the quest “Intergalactic Council.”  However, I did not find this to be accurate.  I was not able to find any drawings/schemes until I reached the quest “Through Thorns to Stars.”

Selene Room Quests

  1. Appearance Can be Deceiving – Explore the Laboratory to complete this quest.
  2. Unstable Trajectory  – Explore the Japanese Garden and the African Room to complete the quest.
  3. Secrets and Conspiracies – This quest will require the exploration of Room 51 five (5) times.  Hope you have lots of secret containers!
  4. Intergalactic Council – Explore the Flying Saucer three (3) times.  This time I hope you have lots of gravitrons!
  5. In What Ear is it Buzzing – Banish 10 each of the television robots, musical robots, and vacuum robots! Oil cans have been a huge issue being very difficult to find when exploring rooms. Check your Collections to see what you Canmore charge to get them!
  6. Through Thorns to Stars – Click on the Lunar Astrolabe in your manor and now you can try to start finding the schemes and drawings of the “Drafts of Moonrover” mentioned above. The quest states that you will find the drawings/schemes by exploring rooms with the UFO Phenomenon and driving away robots and xenophages.  Here is a list of where I have been finding these items so far.  If anyone finds them differently, please let me know and I will update this information:
    1. Draft of Wheels: Explore a room with the UFO Phenomenon
    2. Scheme of Camera Connection: Explore a room with the UFO Phenomenon
    3. Scheme of Antenna: Vacuum Robot
    4. Drawing of Transmission: Vacuum Robot
    5. Scheme of Assembly: Television Robot
    6. Scheme of Optics: Television Robot
    7. Drawing of Engine: Musical Robot
    8. Scheme of Solar Battery: Musical Robot
    9. Drawing of Accumulator: Xenophage
    10. Drawing of Screwdriver: Xenophage

Note: Twice the Television Robot dropped two drawings at a time when using the Turtle of Luck Charm.

Once you have collected all the schemes and drawings, when you click on the Lunar Astrolabe, you will have the ability to click on an “Upgrade” button. Next, a little blurb will appear on the screen:

  7. Information Leakage – Banish the UFO using hyperboloids and chase Snatchin’ Agents to prevent leakage of information. Important Note:  When they say banish the UFO, they are referring to the UFO phenomenon, not the UFO room.   If you don’t see any Secret Agents around your manor when you get this quest, banish  other creatures outside your manor until Secret Agent appears!
  8. Signs of Destiny – Bring Magda the runestones.  You can find them in the rooms of the manor.  The runestones will be taken from you when the quest is complete. You need to obtain 200 runestones and the runestones you already have do not count towards this quest.  I did not explore the rooms of the manor to get my runestones. I needed a break from exploring rooms!  Instead, I got 15 at a time from banishing the Old Gypsy Woman and occasionally got 10 from banishing the gypsy.  Also, runestones can be obtained by visiting your friends’ manors.  The quest also allows you to buy them for 1 diamond a piece if you so choose.
  9. Working According to Plan – Locate the Lunar Astrolabe on the map and follow the conditions of its creation.  Explore rooms with the UFO phenomenon and drive away xenophages and robots to find the details of the Moonrover. What does this mean?  Now, when you click on the Lunar Astrolabe, you will see the following screen:Here is a list of the items of  “Details of Moonrover” and where to find them:
    1. Gravitational Tire:  Exploring rooms which have the UFO phenomenon.
    2. Hight Frequency Transmitter:  Xenophages
    3. Adaptive Analyzer:  Vacuum Robots
    4. Seismic Sensor:  Television Robots
    5. Automated Repair Kit:  Mustical Robots

I found all my gravitational tires by using the strategy found in our note Summoning a Phenomenon to Complete a Quest.  Make sure you read the last 2 paragraphs of that note — very important!

After you collect all of these parts, Quest 9 is now complete and when you click on the Lunar Astrolabe, an “Upgrade” button will now appear.  Click on the upgrade button. A new quest should appear on the left side of your screen:

  10. Robots for Help – Locate on the map,  the Lunar Astrolabe and follow the conditions of its creation.  Collect robots from the collection “Mechanical Helpers” exploring the Laboratory. Now, when you click on the Lunar Astrolabe, you will see the following screen:OMG! 10 sets of robots??? You may already have some mechanical robots if along the way someone gifted a robot to you. Or you may have received a robot or two if you purchased a Chest of Scientist in the Shop. To find the mechanical robots, you have to explore the Laboratory and you have to be at Expert Level in that room before the mechanical robots start dropping. And, of course, you can put them on your wish list. Let me reiterate, do not charge the “Mechanical Helper” until you have all 10 of them. This is a difficult task. The robots rarely drop from the lab. I was fortunate to receive many robots from my friends. Finally, after much frustration and impatience, I bought the last 4 robots! And yes, the game takes the 10 sets of robots when this quest is completed. After you have obtained your 10 sets of robots, you will need to hit the “Upgrade” button. At this point, you can explore the surface of Selene. However, I haven’t done it yet. There are more quests to complete (listed below) and I believe there will be a quest to explore the surface of Selene and I am saving my selenoid fragments to do so.
  11. The Energy of the Ancient Stones – Find and bring Gauguin 30 runestones. You can get runestones by visiting friends and trading with gypsies or you can charge gypsy collections that have runestones as rewards.
  12. Failed Experiment – Find and bring Gauguin 30 batteries. You can get the batteries from visiting friends or charging collections which give batteries as rewards.
  13. Attempt Number 5 – Find and bring Gauguin 30 secret containers. You can get secret containers by visiting friends, occasionaly from banishing an alien, or by charging the “Secret Contraptions” collection.
  14. Lunar Energy – Chase the aliens to find 50 moonstones. The aliens include Little Green Man, Tripod, Octopus, Destroyer, and Xenophage.
  15. Dry Rations for the Journey – Gather and charge the Delicious Dinner collection. The items can be found in the Kitchen.
  16. With Everyone You Can Find a Common Language – Gather and charge the Dictionaries collection. You can find the collection items in the Library and you can also put them on your wishlist. If you already have all the items, just charge the collection and you are done.
  17. The ‘Antistress’ Program – Gather and charge the collection Drinks of the World. You can find the collection items in any room.
  18. Cigarettes Prolong Life – Gather and charge the collection Tobacco Mystery. You can find the collection items in the Hunting Room.
  19. Do Not Lose Face in the Dirt of Space – Gather and charge these 2 collections: Men’s Suit and Miss Elegance. You can find the collection items in the Dressing Room.
  20. Pragmatism of the Professor – Gather and charge the collection Man in Space.  You can find the items in the Flying Saucer.
  21. How to Remain Unnoticed – Gather and charge the collection An Agent’s Personal Effects. You can find the items in Room 51.
  22. Flight to the Moon – Explore the room Selene using Fragments of selenoid.
  23. Lunar Problems – Charge the collection Xenotool of Locksmith to obtain the Hand Gas Burner.  You can find these collection items by exploring the Selene room.
  24. Support Group – Explore the moon (Surface of Selene) to find henchmen.  Charge the Master of All Trades collection.
  25. The Reason of Breakdown – Banish 15 Xenophages to “secure sewage of Selene.”
  26. Urgent Replacement Needed – Explore Surface of Selene to find items to charge the Xenoplumbing collection.

And this is the end, my friends.  Personally, I think this is the hardest room to explore because everything is gray!

Selene Exploration

Fragments of Selenoid are required for exploration. You will need from 10 to 50 for each search depending on your level – refer to our note Novice to Expert: Mastering the Levels.

Selene Room Collections

  • Xenotool of Locksmith – reward: 100 Batteries, Astronaut Breakfast, 300 Experience
  • Master of All Trades – reward: 100 Pieces of Selenoid, Astronaut Lunch, 500 Experience
  • Xenoplumbing – reward: 100 Gravitrons, Astronaut Lunch, 400 Experience
  • Extraterrestrial Brigade – reward: 150 Pieces of Selenoid, Astronaut Lunch, 800 Experience
  • Lunar Variations – reward: 150 Gravitrons, Astronaut Lunch, 600 Experience

Couldn’t find this. where do i look PleaseSummoning a Phenomenon to Complete a Quest. Make sure you read the last 2 paragraphs of that note — very important!

Detective Kit

In Selene notes, line 5, it suggests looking at oil can info. But the link does not work. I never have enough oil cans, Since starting to play, have only had around 20 total drop. Have to rely on friends gifts to charge collections for them. Is the link to notes somewhere else?

    MM_Admin

Thanks for letting me knowM I think that link has been out there since 2012 but the page is nowhere to be found. I updated it. Check your collections to see which ones give them and put the items on your wish list so you can charge them. They used to drop like crazy and then stopped! I updated the page.

Janet

Anyone have any extras from the master of all trades collection? I need one more and can’t find the little bugger!

Raynedeer

I found that if you are actively in the quest to assemble the blueprints (once you get flying saucer open) you may be able to banish these on your friends manor? I got 1 blueprint of mine that way by accident.

Donna

I’ve been on mm for 5 months but didn’t really understand the strategy behind the quests, but after reading the above I’m a lot clearer on what I need to do now, with this particular part anyway so thank u for this.
I just have one query. I only have two quests in relation to the Lunar Astrolabe, intergalactic council & I forgot the other but it’s to search the UFO in words mode, which that room is not displayed on my mm page yet. Does this mean I already completed quests 1-3? & if so how can I tell how many robots etc I have banished? (Been banishing them for a while & not knowing what they were in relation to).
Any information wud be appreciated, thank u x

    Donna

Since posting the above comment I have discovered by reading further comments that I need to complete prof’ Gaugins quest: Unappreciated Genius b4 the crop circles/flying saucer room will appear. What I can’t work out now is how I’ve come to have Intergalactic Council/Negotiations & Persuasions quests showing b4 the Unappreciated Genius. Does anyone have any suggestions plz?? Or can tell me when Gaugins unappreciated genius quest will appear?
    Mant thanks in advance.

    JJ

Before you can actively move on with this quest string you will need to try and complete the UFO quest string. Once you complete that string and search the room you can then finish the intergalactic council quest and the others that follow.

Identify the UFO quest you have right now and refer to the UFO room page on this site to see what quests are upcoming. Don’t banish anything (especially robot) until a quest tells you to.

You probably have 20+ quests going at one time (I have 23 right now) and I try and focus on a particular quest thread until I complete them. Try completing the UFO first and then move to the astrolabe/Selene quest string.

      Donna

      Thanks JJ. V.Helpful

Does anyone know where I can get plasma rifles to banish the Xenophage – ran out doing another part of this quest and can’t move on until I find another 13 – 26 diamonds for each of them. Is outrageous (up to Quest 25: “The Reason of Breakdown.” Banish 15 Xenophage to “secure sewage of Selene.”)

    Sanyo

    Item will drop exploring rooms…

      F1j1g1rl

Have explored over 100 rooms and only 1 dropped 🙁 is there any other way

        Sanyo

I think you need to explore rooms in expert level, but I am not sure. And don’t know if there is another way.

    George

Hi just finished same myself they do drop from any room last few I got kitchen dressing room and hotel kia just make sure you have turtle etc good luck
Just need bath now to finish enjoy george

Sanyo

Is there a way to summon UFO without buying? 20 diamonds for only 1 is too much and we need about 20 or 30 to complete all those quests. And ok, you can get 2 or 3 by completing an achievement. But it’s far from enough!

Michelle

I have the Details of Moonrover now, but none of the items are in the list of ‘can find’ on the robots/etc. Is this maybe because the Mars room is almost complete and I need to complete it before the items will be available for the Moonrover construction? Just curious. I’m not sure what order these rooms are supposed to be opened in since I got so jumbled up…..for example a Pumpkin quest that has been on my screen for months and months….today I FINALLY completed it!! I really wish the old phenomenon would be as often as all the new ones….or change the quests to accommodate the news ones.

Maria Wolstencroft

How can I get the nano phase to summon the UFO phenomenon? It is not in any of the collections. Just don’t want to spend diamonds for the. Need it for quest. Thanks

    admin

Maria, I got it from completing an achievement.

Suj

Hi, I’m stuck on the “Intergalactic Council” quest from many days. To complete this quest I need to explore the Flying Saucer. But I’m not able to locate the Flying Saucer in my manor. I see just the Lunar Astrolabe. Kindly help.

    Suj

I got the answer to this from one of your older comments. Thanks!

Shirley

How do I get 10 of each of the robot helpers? Put them on wish list already.

    admin

The robots start dropping from the laboratory once you reach expert mastery level in the lab.

Chris

Have been working on the second part (assembling the space ship)of the astrolab for awhile and am at 51% but it is at a stand still! I continue trade with green men, visit rooms with Will-o-wist, explored Selene and traded with TV Robots etc. But it won’t move beyond 49% and if I look at wha can be earned from the rooms and trading the tools needed are no longer listed! What’s up with that?
I don’t have any quests on the left except finish building the ship & diamond Van Helsing! So how do I continue to build the space ship if there are no parts anywhere to build it?

    Chris

Oops of the space ship not lab! The purple one!

Barb Rossi

I have the mars, saturn and lunar astroble, but do not have the UFO. It says I need to complete the in which ear is buzzing quest, which I haven’t gotten yet. I have two quests to explore the UFO, and a quest loss of conciousness which I have been waiting a very long time for The phenomona to appear in the living room. I’m not sure what I can do to get this moving again.

Rita Hurd

I have finally gotten to “Details of the Moonrover”. The problem I am having is collecting the parts. I have searched rooms with the UFO, killed NUMEROUS robots and Xenophages and have not gotten 1 part. Any advice on what I can do now?

    admin

Rita, are you using a turtle of luck charm to help the drop rate?

    Sushi

I am stuck on “Details of Moonrover”. None of the TV, Vac., music robots or Xenophage contain any of the components of the Moonrover? I have completed expert level in the lab but don’t want to start banishing robots if the components aren’t there – what am I missing?
Really appreciate your site – refer to it often and has been a huge help – thank you!!

      Bruz3r

Once you are at this quest the items should show up as available drop items. Don’t start banishing if they don’t show as possibilities. Go back & check that you haven’t missed a step.

        Sushi

Tx., went back and checked – Appears I am on quest 7 “Information Leakage” so you were right, I got ahead of myself. Now I just need UFO phenomenon to appear 5x. Thank you!

          admin

          You are welcome 🙂

Pauli

Hi. My flying saucer is not on the screen, do I get it at a certain level??????? I’m level 79 at the moment?? Please explain. Thanks

    admin

Paul, you get the Flying Saucer room as a result of completing quests, not level. Look on our Menu at the top of this screen. Click on The Rooms and find The Flying Saucer Room on the list. You will find all the info about opening it there.

James Rankin

I have explored the flying saucer a number of times and am currently at 20% trainee mastery and the Intergalactic Council Quest is saying I have only explored 1/3. Help please!!!

    Julie

You have to explore the Flying Saucer Room 3 times once you get the quest.

      Mamawow

      Hi Admin.
Thanks for your post last night under the flying saucer quest. I see that my post belongs here because I have the same issue as James here. i am in the trainee phase (2nd level) in the real life flying saucer room under the library. I am not one of those posts asking where the room is. I have finished all quests for the flying saucer room.

I am stuck on intergalactic council because it says i have only explored the room 1/3 times. But I have explored it 20+ times. Looks like this is a glitch and I’ll contact support (though I haven’t had a good history with them). I’d appreciate any advice. it is frustrating to have everyone say “explore the room3 times” because that isn’t working. At least James makes me feel like I’m not crazy!
      anyone else with this problem?

        Mamawow

        Hey wow.
So…i thought “what would happen if I turn off my iPad and restart?” And…i went back to the game, played the flying saucer room once and the #%£¥€ intergalactic quest was completed with 23/3 (meaning room searched 23 times when only 3 times required). YEAH!
Now i have the robot quest. Sigh…

        Mystery manor mystery solved!

Thanks for keeping up the site!

          Julie

OMG!!! Thanks for letting all of us know so we can help others with this issue!!!

Vickie Reznicek

When I get to the point of providing robots, do I charge 10 sets and then they are taken? Or are they taken without being charged first?

    admin

Yes, Vickie, the game does take them 🙁

Susan

This room seems to be taking FOREVER to open. I’m stuck waiting for robots to fall from the lab. I’ve gone through all my batteries and every diamond I had.

ainilha

Am currently trying to open this room.. It’s really tough as the drop rate from all the robots (vacuum, television and musical) are really low..
And now there’s the martian room… 🙁

    Kat

I’ve found that ever since I got to quest 9…UFOs don’t appear any more, things don’t drop…totally stuck:/

Karen Millen

very nice post, i certainly love this website, carry on it

    Thank you, Karen 🙂

Ms

I am on Quest #4 of the Lunar Astrolabe (Intergalactic Council). How is it possible for me to explore the Flying Saucer?????????? What do I have to do first?

    admin

    Open the Flying Saucer Room.

      Imp822

But you don’t have the room at his point yet. It doesn’t make sense!

        admin

Some players did already have the Flying Saucer Room open. You will have to work on the Flying Saucer Room quests first.

          Imp822

It hasn’t given. Me any more quests. I can’t move on without the room. I have leveled up substantially since I first asked about this. I have banished many robots.

            admin

Imp822, can you tell me every open quest you have and I will try to help you figure it where you are at and what is going on?

              Imp822

              It’s a long list…
              Intergalactic council is at the very bottom of my quests; Love, frozen in ice;
              Three crop circle quests-Trip to the stars, un identified spiritism, experimental silhouettes;
              Figure as pretty as a picture; earthling features; Katherine charms; gentleman protects a lady;
Dance of passion; Scrooge and the escaped staff; Sturma hall; Warrior Patton
These are all the open questions have right now. I have had the intergalactic council 422 to 3 weeks at this point. I’m also pretty sure that I already did the next quest which is all that the three robots that you collect 10 each of.
I’ve considered trying to contact the administration find out if there’s a reason that I’m stuck without the room.
Thank you for trying to help with this problem I appreciate it!!

                Imp822

422 was supposed to be for 2 to 3 weeks. LOL

                admin

The crop circles are part of the quests to open The Flying Saucer room. You won’t be able to finish the Intergalactic Council until you get the Flying Saucer room open.

Janne

Were can i find the oil can tip / trick. I guess this is about how to keep a phenomenon in the room. Please help.

Lorelei Woods

Hi, got all my robots, charged them and did not get an upgrade button! Why?

Henry

Are we able to keep robots once completed quest?

    admin

    the game takes the robots

Kaz

Quest 24 is to gather the snatchin Forman (collection 146)

    admin

    Thx, Kaz 🙂

      Kaz

Quest 25 is to banish 15 xenophage
Quest 26 is to collect the xenoplumbing (collection 147)
That looks like the end of it, at least I have no more quests

        admin

Kaz, I think it is the end.

          Krista

Why does the moonrover/lunar astroble/surface of Selene BARELY increase your exploring percentage, even with every charm (elephant) I’ve tried? Snail’s pace, like 1% at a time! I’m on expert level trying to find “Toron” from “Lunar Variations.” (using turtle charm too) Driving me bonkers! Any advice about NOT charging any of the moon collections until a quest asks for it? I’ve only received quests to charge 3 of the 5 collections (xenoplumbing, snatchin foreman, & xenotool).

Mariagiovanna

Is very hard to find the fragments of selenoyd. I banish aliens using the turtle but they rarely fragments. The only way is to buy chest but there are only 150 pieces and they go fast!!!!!

    admin

    agreed!

    Sherry

I also found selenoids from banishing aliens in my friends rooms. ESP, the octopus. Make sure you have the turtle of luck charm before banishing the aliens to increase your chances. hope this helps!

CKR

Is there any way to get the fragments of selenoids besides bashing the aliens? or is there a more effective way getting the selenoids from the aliens? I’m at a quest whereby I am suppose to find the whole collection of hand gas burner and charge them. But I don’t have selenoids to enter the selene room to find all items in the collections. Not sure if my weapons are enough to bash the aliens to get enough of the collection items.

    admin

The only way to get them besides banishing aliens is to purchase them in the Shop or check and see if there is a chest you can purchase that includes fragment of selenoids. If you don’t want to spend any diamonds, try putting some of the weapons needed to banish aliens on your wishlist.

    Krista

CKR, I think your my Mystery Manor friend. Ha!

admin

Rockers, my website is about a very popular social game so I haven’t actively promoted it except on my Facebook and the game developers Facebook pages.

Missy

So, after all the reading I’ve done, I’ve come up with this….you have to collect the drafts to the Moonrover and then you can explore the flying saucer to finish quest four? They give you the quest early. That is the only one that I have….none of the others you have listed. So, my question then is where do you get the drafts? By banishing robots? I think that maybe more the question people are asking about this. Because all your answers for quest 4 (intergalactic council) were the same: check the rooms page. That’s obviously not helping people. It kind of just sends you in a circle. They are getting the quest without having gotten any drafts and finishing the Moonrover.

    admin

Missy, there are 2 different things going on: one is the opening of the Flying Saucer Room and one is the opening of the Lunar Astrolabe/Surface of Selene (Moonrover). You can’t complete the new room, Lunar Astrolabe, until you have opened the Flying Saucer room. That is why I am telling players to go to rooms and look at the Flying Saucer quests.

      Missy

So, they are completely separate? Because I have the Moonrover; that I have to get drafts for and I have the flying saucer quest 4.

        Missy

I have no flying saucer next to the lunar astrolab.

        admin

Missy, they are 2 separate quest strings. You won’t see your flying saucer until you complete the flying saucer quests.

          Missy

Okay…I have none of the flying saucer quests. So, my best bet is to work on quest 6, even though I’m on 4, to try and get the drafts. That’s my problem, I have no flying saucer quests and I, supposedly, according to quest 4, can’t continue with the Moonrover until I have a flying saucer.

            Missy

How do I get the flying saucer quests to start?

              admin

Missy, can you tell me every single quest you have and I will try to help you figure this out?

                Missy

                -The Gardeners Visits
                -Snatchins Conquer Africa

                -Stolen Heart Of Africa
                -Rythms of the Black Continent
                -Margarita in the WOTW Capitivity
                -Fly Into Our Nets

                -Lucky Horseshoes
-The Bird in the Golden Cage.

                  Missy

Some of these, I’ve been doing FOREVER and can’t get items to drop.
                  Ps, thank you for helping.

Heather

I’m on quest 4 and I’m confused on what I’m supposed to do…. Please help me understand.

    admin

You have to explore the Flying Saucer Room located outside of your manor 3 times. If you don’t have the Flying Saucer Room opened, you need to work on that first. Go up this page to our Menu, click on “Rooms” and then select the Flying Saucer Room.

      Smile

I’ve read through the flying saucer room.. And i’ve done quest 20 which is cosmic wisdom but I still din get crop circle..

You can also collect the runestones for quest number 8 by charging collections! Some of the gypsy collections give 70 or 80 runestones! All you have to do is charge 3 times and they count for the quest 🙂

Rhonda

After collecting 10 of each of the required robots, I did note they do take them from your inventory. Also, previous collected ones do count! Hope this helps.

Cissou22

I have a question… I’m trying to collect the mechanical helpers. I’m at expert level in the laboratory (100%) and I’ve been exploring that room 10 times in a row (Thanks to the posts on this page, I had started collecting batteries) and no robot helper dropped. Any idea why? Thanks for this website anyway, it contains a lot of helpful information!

    admin

You are welcome! I had to explore the lab 7 times to get 1 robot and I was using the Turtle of Luck charm.

      Cissou22

Thanks for the answer! I have been using the turtle of luck charm too… I’ll just keep on trying 🙂

        Jarno

Because of the difficulty with the robot, I have added some artifacts as well to maximise the luck. It still is a hell of a job, to find the robots 🙁
        Still working on it.

Yelena

I have a question….. I’m playing on iPad and I haven’t had the flying saucer open up yet but yet I’m on the astrolabe room and can’t complete the quests necessary for it. How and when do I get to the flying saucer? I’m getting frustrated here 🙁

Thank you

    admin

Yelena, go to our Menu. Click on “Rooms.” Then click on “Flying Saucer Room.”

      Yelena

I have and I still can’t quite figure out why I’m not getting the quests needed to get the flying saucer….. And also why did I get the astrolabe room before the flying saucer? Has this happened to anyone else? If you’d like I have no problem reporting this inquiry on the flying saucer page.

      Thank you 🙂

        Yelena

Reposting not reporting. Sorry for the typo.

          admin

Yelena, we all had the Lunar Astrolabe pop up in our manors at the same time. The Flying Saucer never shows up until you complete all the quests. Do you have any of these quests: Crumbs on a Bread, Unappreciated Genius, or Strange Loss of Consciousness. I’ve been doing research and they precede the Flying Saucer quests we currently have listed in our note.

            Yelena

I have a crumbs on books quest… Is that the one you meant? Other than that I have flowers of solid gold, drinking brotherhood with the idol, special miso soup, songs of the ancestors, sea-cook, and of course the intergalactic council quest that is causing all this frustration.

              admin

Yes, crumbs on book, sorry I said it wrong. That is only a couple of quests before the Flying Saucer quests kick in!

                Yelena

                Awesome! Thank you 🙂

Cat Clan

Details of Moonrover.

These drop consistently.

#1. Explore room with UFO phenomenon. Use “oil can trick” to keep the phenomenon. The wheel still only drops occasionally, even with lucky turtle, so don’t let your UFO escape!

#2. Xenophage

#3. Vacuum robot

#4. Television robot

#5. Musical robot

    Cat Clan

I had very bad drop rate with UFO in dressing room with turtle.

When UFO arrived in hall, I tried exploring with 10% luck friend but no charms and no turtle. 80% success rate! I now have 10 of the Moonrover wheel-shaped items, collected in 1 hour by keeping the UFO in the hallway and exploring with the one friend.

    admin

    Thx, Cat Chan!

    Jenni

    What’s the oil can trick?!

      admin

It was great while it lasted! It doesn’t work since a few updates ago.

        Jenni

        Oh, thanks!
Don’t think I’ll ever get in!!

          admin

          You will eventually, Jenni!

sb

I feel compelled to post about the quest for finding the moon rover parts. The drop rate for the robot pieces (adaptive analyzer – vacuum robot, seismic sensor – tv robot, automated repair kit – musical robot) is completely unrealistic. I’ve found the drop rate for adaptive analyzer is 30 trades for 9 parts (still need 10th). At that rate, I will need 300 oil cans for the seismic sensors and 450 for the automated repair kit. (I estimate 13 hours of constant play.) This on top of 300 oil cans used with the initial quest of 30 robots, plus 200-300 I used to get the blueprint pieces. I think the developers have done everything possible to compel us to purchase diamonds. These oil cans are set up perfectly: you can’t banish snatchins for them, you can’t charge a collection to get them, you can’t ask a friend for them, and you can’t earn them without the oil can trick. Talk about in-game economics!!!

So I will continue to slog away. At least it isn’t yet impossible to do – it is just impracticality at its highest. Incidentally, I’m trading with robots with a turtle running. I also has the games artifact running, but I think that only increases chances in the rooms, not for trading with creatures.

If anyone has any hints for increasing the drop rates for these parts, please let me know!!!

    admin

    Great post, sb 🙂

    Eungiya

Wow, you’re way better than me. My drop rate for adaptive analyzer (vacuum robot) was 30 trades for 6 parts only even I used turtle!! Did you use any charms?

      sb

I used a turtle. Also had games artifact running but don’t think that helps. Still looking for elusive 10th vacuum robot part

        Eungiya

I see! I have just done vacuum robot part. Had 43 trades to get all 10. 🙁

          sb

          Oh I feel your pain!!!!

      sb

My drop rate for television robots has been about four trades for each moon rover part. Yes, that’s right. I’ve traded about 30 times with the tv robot for 8 pieces. Still two to go and then the musical robot, which takes 15 cans each. It is oddly heartbreaking each time I trade 10 oil cans to get nothing! It is going to take a long, long time to do this without purchasing diamonds 🙁

        admin

I hear you, sb. I used diamonds to get the last few. But I had a lot because I hadn’t used any for a long time.

Laura

I am doing the blueprints.. No problem get them from Zeno to drop bp but the robots I have banished 5 w oil cans and not one has dropped a single bp i am using the turtle too.. Any ideas why.. Had the drop in UFO room too

    admin

Laura, are you banishing the robots only in your manor or in other manors too?

      sb

One thing I noticed is that the drop rate is very low if you go one at a time. I needed 10 parts for the Selene from the vacuum robot. I banished several in a row on my own manor (because he keeps popping up each time) and had 9 parts drop in 22 trades. I was getting tired lol so I would hunt for 5 oil cans, trade with vacuum, then do it again. I have traded 8 times like that and STILL haven’t gotten the 10th piece! So my theory is maybe save up 25 oil cans and trade 5 times in a row, and maybe I will catch it after 2 or 3 trades. Just a thought.

        sb

Just thought I’d update: for my 10th moon rover part I needed from the vacuum robot, I saved up 30 oil cans and started trading one after another. I hit on the third one. So maybe it is better to save up and trade multiple times in a row. We’ll see with the 10 parts I need from the television robot

          admin

          Thx for info, Sb 🙂

      Laura

Only in my manor..just did another 5 and only one drop that is about 120 oil cans for 1 blueprint piece. I have the 10 bp from Zeno and 2 from exploring UFO room. Should I try friends manor

        admin

I got some drops in friends manors.

        Laura

Will try .. I have a feeling they will force me to buy…

          admin

Laura, of course they want to make money and want players to buy. However, you don’t have to. It’s a matter of patience. Don’t feel pressured if you don’t want to spend diamonds; just know it will take you longer.

Help

    Canspinner

I have searched 3 rooms with the UFO but it is not giving me credit in step 3 so I can move on. What am I doing wrong?

      Mahera

You have to search the flying saucer 3 times! The quest you are referring to is NOT referring to rooms with UFO phenomenon, but to the flying saucer room (also known as UFO) which is underneath library/hall in your manor! I hope you have opened it already, otherwise you are stuck untill you do. You will need gravitons to search it. I hope this will help you out 🙂

        Canspinner

That’s the answer! No I don’t have the UFO room open. Thanks!

          admin

Hi! Go to the menu, click on “Rooms,” and then click on “The Flying Saucer Room” to get the info you need for that room 🙂

    Chief

You must NOT search the rooms but banish the UFO using the hyperboloids in order to receive credit.

      Canspinner

      That didn’t work either!

    admin

can spinner, are you searching the Flying Saucer room or rooms with the UFO phenomenon?

      Canspinner

I’m doing intergalactic council, flying saucer phase. Says I have to accomplish 3 times. Information about the colony in O’lle.

lisa

Once you get beyond hunting down UFO’s and robots to get the above items, you upgrade again. Now, you have to collect robots (like the mechanical helpers). My website link is a link to an image.

    admin

Thanks again for new info, Lisa 🙂

    lisa

The mechanical helpers are found by exploring the lab.

Demdike

After you’ve completed the drafts, and I’ve only had one drop from 1 musical and 5 vacuum robots, you have to collect 10 items from all 3 robots for the bits of the moon rover. So start collecting the 2400+ oilcans you’re going to need now folks! Oh and batteries cos your going to need 2500 of those too, in order to collect 10 of each robot helper!

Judy

This is great information Julie! I have not been getting the UFO unless I summon it. So will just slow down now and wait it out. :o). A least that is my plan.

    admin

I’m not getting it either and haven’t tried to summon it yet. But I think I am going to have to or I won’t be able to update the notes 😀

    Canspinner

I have searched 3 UFOs but it isn’t giving me credit. What am I doing wrong? I’m on quest 4.

      Chief

You have to banish the UFO using the hyperboloid in order to receive credit.

Rita

What is the difference between fragment of solenoid and fragments of solenoid I have both in my inventory but am unable to use the “fragments” to explore the room?

Claude

I’m at the In What Ear is it Buzzing? quest, so it’ll take me a while, but I like to know what’s coming up. Thanks!

    admin

I had 2 separate fragments of solenoid in my inventory, but when I opened the game today, they were consolidated into one group

Tanya

I don’t have the flying saucer room either…..I completed the strange recording part and then nothing else has ever popped up for this quest, so I’m stuck as well and not able to proceed with new quest. About ready to hang up hat with this game. I can’t ever compete any quests. Makes it no fun:(

    admin

Tanya, I may be able to help you figure it out of you tell me every quest you have. I have been able to help some others by doing it this way.

Sunny

I got past the blueprints. Next quest requires banishing 15 snatchin agents and visiting rooms with UFO 5 times. As for the room, there is a need to collect 5 different assembly items. Unfortunately they cannot be requested. One needs to explore rooms and banish robots (more oil cans!!!) to collect. Been to several rooms with turtle and none dropped so far…Each item costs 24 diamonds, so beware!

    Sunny

I forgot to add, one needs to collect 10 of each assembly item. If you want to buy all it would cost 1200 diamonds….

      Kelli

Yes, finding the 10 each is showing to be a pain. I get quite a few drops from the xenophage banishing with the turtle, but very little from the UFO phenomenon or the robots.

        lisa

I’ve got 5 of the wheels, 10 of the satellite looking things, none of the cameras, 5 of the 4th item (don’t know what it is) and 2 of the last item (don’t know what it is). I know that the wheels come from the UFO room so once you get it, you may want to do the oil can trick to keep it. I’ve been banishing robots and xenophages like crazy today. I’m about ready to give up and just play the rest of the game.
        I’m at 42%.

    admin

Thanks for the info, Sunny! I am on the snatchiin agents UFO room quest right now. Can’t get the UFO to come and trying not to pay for it!

      Julie

I am stuck at thus point too. Have had all the other phenomena numerous time but cannot get UFO to come. As I am not paying for it, this quest seems to be unattainable for me…

        admin

Yes, if you don’t want to spend diamonds, all you can do is keep playing rooms and hope the UFO shows up.

Demdike

Great, the oil can trick is all well and good, but, I’ve just spent 6hrs and over 4500 energy points exploring the cheapest room with a curse over 150 times, knowing I have to do exactly the same again. Then I’m done, right? Wrong! If the robots drp the maps first time I have to find snother 60 oil cans. The game has stopped being a pleasure. Good thing I’m not addicted!!

Gina

Happily, I’ve also had the Xenophage drop two drawings twice today. (Using Turtle of Luck charm of course!!). Sadly, I’m only getting the robots to drop like every other time I catch them…argh!…..but at least it’s a quest!! Better than nothing 🙂

    admin

I am so glad to have a new quest I can’t see straight!

Nancy D

I only have a few quests up right now. NONE of them have anything with unlocking the space ship. I have NEVER had those quests. I do have a shload of gravitrons because I’ve had no where to spend them.

I lost out on a quest a bit ago for this same reason. No saucer. No island either, for that matter.

    admin

Nancy, which quests do you have?

      Nancy D

In order of how long they’ve been hanging around, I currently have:
      Flowers of Solid Gold 0/10
Button Trail 1/1 Night in Garden; 0/1 Mist in Dressing Room
      Geisha Fan with Surprise 0/1
      Banana Surprise 5/15
      Lost Dessert Tiramisu 0/1
Banish and Dry 0/10 Swamp Creatures

        cutepekkle

I’m stuck at explore flying saucer x3 too as the quest still not show up yet… I do finish priate brig and working on secretive island though… Don’t know how far will get the flying saucer quest 🙁

          admin

Which quests do you have cutepekkle?

        admin

The flowers and swamp creatures quests are part of the Full Moon Event. The Tiramisu is on the way to the pirate brig. I think one of the other 3 quests you mentioned may be holding you up. I just looked through my quest list; Gesha Surprise is about 7 quests before the quest A Strange Recording. Do you have the combat fan on your wishlist? 2 quests after Geisha Surprise you should get a quest called Professor’s Laboratory. I think that is the true beginning of the Flying Saucer quests, but I did not realize it at the time. Will try to update the note with the additional quests that I now think belong.

Linda

You are amazing, great job

    admin

    Thank you so much 🙂

Sunderwood73

The quest that says I have to explore the flying saucer 3 times… How? There is no flying saucer in my manor, I only have the astrolabe…

    admin

Hi. That means that you haven’t completed all the quests yet to open the Flying Saucer room. We have a lot of info about how to get this room open. Go to our Menu. Click on “Rooms.” Then click on Flying Saucer room. Look through the quests to see if you have any of them yet.

      Sunderwood73

Okay, now i have find the blueprints and enter the flying saucer. How f i dont have a quest for robots and their oil cans? Those previously mentioned are the only 2 quests related to the new update. Im stuck…

        admin

Sunderwood, did you explore the Flying Saucer 3 times?

Denise

Thanks for all your help. This is fantastic!

    You are welcome 🙂
