The Path to the Flying Saucer Room!!!

Hi Page Friends!  Here is  a preview of things to come for those of you not quite there yet!

When you get the quest from Professor Gaugin called “Unappreciated Genius”  you are on your way to opening the 16th Room, the Flying Saucer Room.

Here are the beginning quests:

Quest 1:  Unappreciated Genius.  Get 35 batteries from the robots and explore the Laboratory at Night five times.  When I did this quest, the batteries I already had in my inventory counted toward the quest.  I hope this is still the case for the newer players.

Quest 2:  Years Supply of Donuts.  Set a trap for the mysterious thief by exploring the Kitchen in Silhouette Mode and the Living Room in Night Mode.

Quest 3:  Button Trail.  Explore the Dressing Room while the Mist Phenomenon is present and explore the Japanese Garden in Night Mode.

Quest 4:  Crumbs on Books.  Explore the Library with the Will-o’-the-Wisp Phenomenon and the Mist Phenomenon.  We need to calm Joanna down.

Quest 5:  Sudden Loss of Consciousness.  Explore the Living Room with the Will-o’-the-Wisp Phenomenon to find out what scared Katherine.  Also, explore the Bedroom in Night Mode.

Quest 6:  Professor’s Laboratory:  Find the laboratory on the map, click on it to get inside, and explore it to complete the quest

Quest 7:  The Professor’s Amnesia:  Explore the Laboratory in Night Mode.

Quest 8:  Mysterious Voice Recorder:  Explore the Hunting Room.

Quest 9:  Preparing for Work:  You have to obtain 10 Laser Swords, 10 Blasters, and 10 Plasma Rifles either by exploring rooms or buying them (haha).

Quest 10:  Collecting Parts:  Collect 15 Super Adhesive Tape, 15 Supersensitive Antenna, and 15 Quantam Accelerator.   The quest states in caps:  THESE ARE NOT THE USUAL PARTS; YOU HAVE NOT COLLECTED THEM BEFORE.   I think they say this because they do look like parts we collected before, e.g., the Super Adhesive Tape looks just like the Duct Tape, lol.  You can collect these from the Vacuum, Television, and Musical Robots or you can purchase them for 1 diamond a piece.

Quest 11:  Jack of All Trades:  Collect 15 Drunken Joe Whiskey, 15 Pliers,, and 15 Tool Set.  The quests states that you can find these by exploring the Fortune Telling Room, the Japanese Garden, and the Laboratory.  But remember, these the whiskey can normally be found in the Hunting Room and the pliers and tool sets in the bathroom so look there as well.  In addition, all these items can be put on your wishlist.

Quest 12:  A Strange Recording:  This quest requires you to banish 10 Musical Robots, 10 Television Robots, and 10 Vacuum Robots.  Many of us gave up in desperation and paid diamonds to purchase oil cans to kill the robots.  Here is a photo of this quest:

Quest 13:  A Fresh Look at the Map: Find the U/V Lamp somewhere in the Laboratory to complete the quest.

Quest 14:  Room 51:  Explore the Secret Room, also known as Room 51, to complete the quest.

Quest 15:  Agent Fox:  Explore Room 51 to complete the quest

Quest 16:  The Case of the Mysterious Crop Circles:  Explore Room 51 at night to find the meteorite that’s hidden there.  (The meteorite is called the Tunguska Monolith).

Quest 17:  Unfair Exchange.  Obtain the Roswell Skull and Eternal Windmill.  you must charge the Perpetual Motion collection to obtain the Eternal Windmill.

Quest 18:  Guests from Faraway Planets: Explore the Hunting Room in night mode.  You might find the Totem there.  The revolver will be taken when the quest is completed.  (The revolver can be found in Room 51 fyi).  Here is a photo of this quest:

Quest 19:  Proof on a Stone:  You have to find the Bas-Relief.  I already had this item, so I immediately got the reward.  We will try to find out what the quest actually said and update this note for you all.

Quest 20: Cosmic Wisdom: Try to find the pyramid by exploring the Fortune Telling room in silhouettes mode.  You will also need to have 5 Books of Merlin to fulfill this quest!  The books will be taken when the quest is completed.  Here is a photo of this quest:

After you complete this quest, you will suddenly see a photograph of crop circles at the bottom of your screen (photo below) and you will receive 8 new quests for different crop circles.  Here is a pic of the crop circle photo that will appear and a list of the 8 crop circle quests:

Crop Circle Quest 1:  Among Friends: You will find the Peruvian Crop Circle  for building a UFO landing area by helping your friends.  Here is a photo of the first crop circle quest.  You will notice in the photo that you have the option of spending 6 diamonds to purchase the crop circle.  You will have this option for each of the 8 crop circle quests.

Crop Circle Quest 2:  Unidentified Spiritism: Try to find the Arizona Crop Circle by exploring the Hall with the Mist phenomenon.

Crop Circle Quest 3:  Snatchin Intelligence Network: In exchange for one container, the Snatchin Agent might give us the Mesopotamian Crop Circle.  Look for the snatchins on the manor map.  (FYI, when they say “containers,” they mean the secret containers that we use to enter the lab, so be careful with this one!)

Crop Circle Quest 4:  We’re Off to Scout!:  Explore and banish the Flying Saucer by any method to try finding the Roswell Crop Circle.

Crop Circle Quest 5:  Experimental Silhouettes:  Explore the Laboratory in Silhouette mode and you might find the Egyptian Crop Circle.

Crop Circle Quest 6:  On Fox’ Trail:  Explore Room 51.  The Amazon Crop Circle is most likely found there.

Crop Circle Quest 7:  Catch the Robot: Catch the professor’s robots.  There is a chance that one of them has the Nazca Crop Circle.

Crop Circle Quest 8:  Time to Make Contact: Banish the aliens and you probably find the Tunguska Crop Circle.

After you complete the crop circle quests, you will receive the next quest:

Quest #21:  Trip to the Stars: Assemble the first part of the landing area.  To open up access to it, find a photograph of crop circles on the map, click on it and assemble the needed objects.

Here is a pic that of the screen that will appear when you click on the crop circles photograph at the bottom of your manor:

Now, you should click on the “upgrade” button shown in the photo above.  When you click on “upgrade,” you will see this tiny little screen:

After I did the above, I received a screen saying I had completed the UFO quest although I never got a UFO quest per se!

Quest 22:  Intergalactic Beacon:  Click on the image of the crop circles on the map to assemble the beacon components.  (Here is a photo showing what the crop circles at the bottom of your manor will look like now:)

After you click on the crop circles per the Intergalactic Beacon quest, the following screen will appear:

Please note the following

1.  You can request these items from your friends by pressing the “ask friends” buttons.

2.  If you do request the items from your friends, take note of the different levels required for the items:

  • Duct Tape — Cannot be gifted.  Must be purchased or obtained from a vacuum robot.
  • Camera Tripod – Can be gifted from friends at Level 30 or above.
  • Megaphone — Can be gifted from friends at Level 65 or above.
  • Projector – Can be gifted from friends at Level 199 or above. I bought these – 1 diamond each.
  • Extension Cord – Can be gifted from friends at Level 44 or above.

3.  You can purchase these items for 1 diamond each.

4.  You may find these items by exploring the manor or banishing robots and aliens (allegedly!).

Once you have obtained all of the required items, you will receive a new quest from the professor and you will notice that the crop circles beneath your manor have morphed into a flying saucer!  Look at the following 2 photos:

Now you can finally enter the flying saucer!!!

    HELP!!!

I’ve had this quest called intergalactic council for MONTHS now which requires me to explore the fly ping saucer. Problem is I don’t have the flying saucer. Nope. Not even on the request string yet. Why would a quest like this show up before the room is ready to explore? Anyone have the same problem?

Cathy, some quest strings activate when you reach a certain level or with an update to the game. What level are you on in the game? Other strings will begin with the completion of a string ( secretive island quests begin when you finish the pirate brig quests).

Carefully look at all of you quests. When you open to read the quest look at the icon to the left of the word “quest”. You can tap on that icon and it will tell you the quest string it belongs to (Selene, flying saucer, pirate brig, bunker,…). If there isn’t an active quest running for the flying saucer then you may not be at the level in the game that triggers that string to begin.

My suggestion would be to level up as quickly as possible and complete any quest strings that you can. In the last month or so I have completed the following quest strings using this method: flying saucer, pirate brig, crypt, stigloi’s castle, ancient pyramid, ice citadel, werewolf’s lair, and I am almost done with the pumpkin fields quests.

Ignore those quests you know you can’t finish right now like Intergalactic Council and focus on others that you can or just search rooms in an effort to level up as quickly as possible. Also use this site and follow the quests listed to see what is coming up. Keep reading the comments for ideas and quests names for when the info listed isn’t up to date also.

      Hope this helps

I am at level 89. So far the only quest relates to the flying saucer is that intergalactic council quest. I don’t have anything else with the same icon. I am on the secretive island quest now as I’ve completed the pirate brig.

I also have a lot of quests that require me to explore the pyramid, the Hyperion portal, the werewolf lair, etc but I don’t have enough key items to enter them unless I pay in diamonds. Do I have to use my diamonds?

        Reply
        1. JJ

There are only a couple of ways to get keys: buy them with diamonds, banish creatures in the basement and/or yard that drop keys as findable items, or buy trunks that include keys. I occasionally get keys from banishing creatures but usually just buy what is needed to get in the rooms. Regardless of what method you use to get in just make sure you have a bunch of the items required to explore the rooms. You would hate to get in then not get to explore very many times.

As far as the flying saucer is concerned if you have checked every quest against the string of quests posted on this site it may be time to contact support. I haven’t had to do this before so I’m not sure of the actual process.

I have the same problem and I’m on level 72. Can’t figure out what is the matter. I have the intergalactic council quest but no saucer or crop circle.

I am working on the crop circles. I have been in lab and room 51 under the specified conditions to make the crop composite pictures drop and have a charm running but no luck at all. Is there some other requirement that has to be met before the dang nabbit things drop? Suggestions please!

    Reply
    1. JJ

I would run as many charms as possible: turtle of luck, Midas’ hand, daily reward charm if you time it right, 10% helper, and also charge a butterfly collection to see if you get one that helps you find an item.

Also remember the lab has to be searched in silhouette mode. Just have patience, you are almost there.

Finally got into the flying saucer today. A new string of quests started. I will post them as I get them.

#1: Soft Landing–Explore the flying saucer to complete the quest.
#2: Explore the UFO in night mode and look around the manor for the tool set. You will need 30 of the tool set. These will be removed from your inventory when completed.

Will add more once I get more energy to explore!!!
On the bright side I can finally finish “Intergalactic Council” quest that I have had forever! Also found the Mars Rover on my first try!

      The last quest is:

#3: Energy Source Needed–explore the flying saucer in silhouette mode and charge the Gallactica Nano Reactor collection.

Once I did this no more flying saucer quests appeared.

On a side note however, I had a gold Phoenix charm for energy restoration going when I charged the reactor and when the reactor artifact started my energy restoration was knocked down to one second!!!!! I was able to move through several full moon event quests that required banishing large numbers of adepts, werewolves, and several other creatures rather quickly.

Did you get all the items for the galactical thingy when exploring the sourcer, or did you need to search other rooms?

        Reply
        1. JJ

You get some from Room 51 and also from banishing some of the various aliens roaming your and your friends manors. Put needed collection items on your wish list also. Don’t remember getting many from exploring the flying saucer. Once you get all of the pieces for the artifact, make sure you have a lot of free time to play before you charge it. If you have a gold phoenix charm running when you charge it, your restoration rate is 1 second so you can play for a while with basically limitless energy.

I did this one afternoon and then did one of the competitions (exploring the kitchen) and was able to get my first trophy. Also good during the full moon quests when you have to banish a lot of creatures that use energy.

This quest seems so frustrating which I think the main reason is, quest don’t seem to come up when your eligible to do them. They come up in an order that to me don’t make sense!
I’ve been stuck on the crop circle quest line for months. I’ve collected everything that was asked but still no crop circle picture!!! I have had a quest for months called “negotiations and persuasions” which I have the Lava Lamp for but can’t go any further because it wants me to explore the “Flying Saucer” room which I don’t have. Can any one see what I’m doing wrong, I really want to move on in the game :(

    Reply
    1. JJ

      Trish,

That particular quest (Negotiations and Persuasions is from the Saturn line of quests (I am on this one as well). When you click on a particular quest, click on the little icon that is next to the word “Quest”. This will tell you what the string of quests are called. There are several (I believe that I have about 20 different quest strings going on right now so it can be confusing).

Once I figured this out and really started paying attention to this site I started making progress. Since the Flying Saucer was the oldest of the “new rooms” I started with it and have focused only on that one and have tried to complete it. I am finally building me decoder!!! Each quest popped up just like the list said and I was able to move pretty quickly through most of them.

My tip would be to identify which quest is your next Flying Saucer Quest and then focus only on those if you want to open that room (several other quest strings rely on being able to search the flying saucer). As you complete the quests for the flying saucer you may finish other quests as well.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

PS. Don’t banish anything unless you absolutely have too. Save those oil cans and other weapons until you are told to do so. Same goes with charging items.

Could someone help me out with this? I have this quest, which says i need to banish or explore the “saucer’ to try and capture the pilot. I have tried doing both, but the quest isn’t completed yet. Am I supposed to do something else? Is it a quest for the flying saucer room, and if not where else should I look?

    Reply
      1. Neha

No, I don’t have the room yet, not even the crop circles. I went through the comments and found it might be crop circle quest 4 that I am talking about, although it has a different name (clear the night sky) on Android. I have already both explored and banished the flying saucer phenomenon more than once, but the quest isn’t complete yet. :(
Do I need to do that repeatedly until I get lucky or what?

      Neha,

I believe this is talking about the Flying Saucer phenomenon. I recently had this quest and opted to use diamonds instead (and right after I did, you guessed it, the saucer appeared). Technically you don’t have the actually flying saucer to explore yet so the only thing I could come up with is the phenomenon.

Give it a try and hopefully it will work.

      Reply
      1. Raynedeer

It is the UFO phenomenon. At least it was for me. You could purchase summoner in the shop which is what I decided to do. But I am stick on getting all the crop circles for 2 seemingly easy rooms and have posted on her looking for advice. Ty. And good luck.

I just wanted to say a big ‘THANKS’ for this site! After asking my questions and getting direction (and printing out all the lists of quests for all the rooms I don’t have yet) I am on quest 14 now and should be able to get to the crop circles today or tomorrow!! WOOHOO!! I have to say though that the new phenomenon that are being added to the game will make it almost impossible to get through the quests for the Pirate’s Brig, Flying Saucer, Zodiac, etc. :-( I guess to get somewhere I will buy a ton of diamonds when they go on ‘sale’ and start buying the items I need to get through. It stinks, but it’s also a great sense of accomplishment to feel like I’m finally making sense of the flow of the game. My husband may be staging an intervention in the very near future…..

I am going crazy. I have the interglalatic council quest that requires me the visit the flying saucer 3 times. But I do not have a flying saucer. I contacted GI and they repeating told me how to assess the pirate brig and secret island. I am a level 183 and spent many hours searching rooms repeat lay without banishing phemomens but I have had this quest for months without results. I have the Moonrover but I can’t get anywhere without buying the items at 24 diamonds a shot. Does anyone know how to solve this? What am I missing?

Sounds like Row and I are in the same boat. I am also trying to finish the “Intergalactic Council” quest and I can’t find the Flying Saucer Room either so I assume I haven’t opened it yet. I am also working on getting a bunch of crop circle pictures for another quest at the same time. I think that these are related somehow but I am not to sure. It seems like my manor is surrounded by space objects (I.e. Mars something, moon something, aliens) but no o’olle the alien or flying saucer.

SERIOUSLY? The greed of Game Insight’s owners will eventually destroy their business.

I finished banishing the robots a while back (or think I did),but never had another “professor” quest come up. I remember banishing the 3 different ones unless there is another similar quest. I have 2 quests on my board telling me to search in the flying saucer room but don’t have one to search.
Is there any way to get quests to come up or do you have to reach a certain level? I am now at level 99. I got tired of waiting and took advantage of the 3 for 1 and bought my way into Saturn, (it was the least expensive of the 3 lobes on my board. I don’t like buying them anyway. Part of the fun is searching and completing the quests. I have pretty much gotten this far flying blind. Can you offer some advice?

No I haven’t. The only quests I have gotten that relates to Mars, Saturn, or the flying saucer room are the ones previously mentioned. One is telling me to search the flying saucer. I don’t even have a flying saucer to search. It’s all pretty confusing when things don’t happen in any kind of order.

I put a note in to GI support this morning after finding this website and realizing something is wrong with my game. I also keep receiving tape measures and have no clue what they are for and they don’t show anywhere in my inventory. How come my Flying. Saucer quests are still continuing? I’m used to the other rooms where you explore in words, silhouette, and night before it’s completed. But now I have the quest “An Energy Source is Needed” which requires exploring in silhouette mode and charging Galactica Nano Reactor which is Artifact #4?
I’m already stuck in robots quest of Lunar Astrolabe and drawings of Mars room, so I was hoping that the Flying saucer room was finally finished. Maybe new updates add new quests?

Just a tip. Given the limited oil cans and numerous banishing robots quests, its better to spend diamonds on Quest 10 Collecting Parts to get items and use the oil cans for Quest 12 A Strange Recording. Parts only cost 1 Diamond each whereas buying oil cans is about 1 Diamond each and you need more than 1 oil can to banish the robots (5 for Vacuum, 10 for Television, and 15 for Musical). Too bad I didn’t check what was coming next and make the computations to figure this out before it was too late.

Hope it can help someone else. Im stuck in Quest 12 now with not enough oil cans or diamonds to buy all of them. :( Looking ahead, i will probably buy the crop circle quests that require a phenomenon and banishing robots as 6 diamonds is cheaper than summoning the mist or buying oil cans, unless by sheer luck we find crop circle after just banishing one vacuum robot and the mist is already in hallway. Yeah right……

Hi Vic. I was able to accumulate over 400 oil cans but because of multiple oil can requirements of different quests, i still gave up and spent diamonds for chests with oil cans to unlock this room. But you are right, I should use my turtle of luck charms to get more oil cans. I just keep thinking i should use it only with full energy about to upgrade to maximize the 6 hours. I’ll try your advice and stop hoarding now that I’m stuck on another robots quest for Selene room.

I looked in my inventory and i only have the alien language decoder, not any “information about the colony”. I did end all the other saucer quests including “explore the saucer at night”.
