Hyperion Hall

General Krieg & The Hyperion Hall, i.e., Good-Bye Gold!

Yes, that’s correct.  Another boss fight room in Mystery Manor, players, the Hyperion Hall.  Where do I begin?

First, if you look in your Yard, you will be blinded by a bright pink object, the Portal to Hyperion.

Hyperion HallTHE QUESTS

NOTE: I am always using a Turle of Luck charm during these quests.

Quest 1: “Enemy Attack in the Morning.” Find the following weapons by exploring the rooms of the manor: (a) Speedshooter (or purchase for 65,000 gold), Machine Gun “Mitralier” (or purchase for 350,000 gold), and Ash-Maker (or purchase for 135,000 gold.) These weapons were not really hard to find; had to explore rooms about 9 or 10 times to get them all. Save your gold!

Quest 2: “Mission: Capture a Prisoner for Interrogation.” Fight the soldiers around the manor to try and take a Hyperion soldier prisoner. I used the weapons I had accumulated during the previous quest to finish this quest. By soldiers, they are referring to the following new entities, e.g., Storm General, Storm Trooper, Grenadier, Punisher, etc…

Quest 3: “Drafting Elsa.” Explore the Bedroom in Silhouette mode to complete the quest.

Quest 4: “The Prisoner’s Unintellible Language.” Find the Hyperion’s Dictionary by exploring the rooms of the manor. I don’t remember which room but found it fairly quickly.

Quest 5: “I Know Nothing!” Banish the Storm Generals to catch General Krieg. This is the quest I am currently on. To banish the Storm General, he has to be “hit” 5 times which costs 647,000 in gold — my gold is rapidly deplenishing.  Finally, I stopped using the gold to banish it and patiently played for several days to get enough weapons to drop to banish the Storm General.  It took 2 more times until I finally caught General Krieg!

Quest 6:  “The Enemy’s Sinister Plans!”  Assemble and charge the Hyperion Weapons and Storm Brigade collections.  They Hyperion Weapons collection contains all the weapons you need to banish the “soldiers” to get the items for the Storm Brigade.  Here is a list of the “soldiers” you need to banish to get the Storm Brigade collection items:

  • Assault Trooper – Banish the Storm Trooper
  • Punisher – Banish the Punisher
  • Grenadier – Banish the Grenadier
  • Avenger – Banish the Grenadier
  • Storm General – Banish the Storm General

Quest 7:  “A Strange Disturbance.”  Explore the Hunting Room in Silhouettes mode 3 times.

Quest 8:  “Preparing for War.”  Look for 30 Runestones by exchanging with the Gypsies.  I chose to charge a collection that gave Runestones as a reward.

Quest 9:  “Hyperion Prisoner.”  Explore the Japanese Garden, Laboratory, and Room 51 three times each.

Quest 10:  “Foreign Invasion.”  Explore the Hall to complete the quest.

Quest 11:  “Escape of the General.”  Charge the Mechanical Robots collection to complete the quest.  Once you get this quest, each of the 5 robots appears on the findable items list for every room.  Unfortunately, I gave all but 1 of my robots away so I would advise you to at least one set of robots in preparation for this quest.  I didn’t expect this!!!

Quest 12:  “To Arms!”  Collect the following weapons of Hyperion in the rooms of the manor:  15 Gewehr rifles, 15 Ash-makers, and 15 Fist Launchers.  They do drop from multiple rooms but it takes a while to gather them all.  Of course, you can use gold to buy them if you choose.

Quest 13:   “Gathering the Reserves.”   Banish 15 Snatchin Recruits.  Banish regular snatchins, Bookworm, Eartwisting, Thieving, Hungry, Grubby, etc.  While you are banishing the snatchins, you will see the quest update periodically.  You have to banish quite a few snatchins before this quest is completed.

Quest 14:  “The First Skirmish.”  Defeat 5 Stormtroopers, Punishers, and Storm Generals.  My experience was that the drop rate for weapons drastically decreased after Quest 12.

Quest 15:  “Maneuvers.”  Explore any 5 rooms in Zodiac mode to complete the quest.  (I am currently on this quest and guess what?  I have ZERO rooms in Zodiac mode.  I had one room in Zodiac but it got taken over by the Will-o-the-Wisp phenomenon right before I got this quest!

Quest 16:  “Sturm Hall.”  Explore the Hall while the Mist phenomenon is present 3 times.  Do not banish the Mist.

Quest 17:  “In Pursuit of the General.”  Banish Snatichin Partisans and to find 3 Hyperion portals..

Quest 18:  “Facing the General.”  Defeat General Krieg in the Hyperion Hall.

Quest 19:  “Unexpected Allies.”  Charge the Imperial Desserts collection and Drinks of the World collection.  Banish Hyperion Soldiers to obtain items for these collections if you don’t already have them.  (However, there are many easier ways to get these collection items!)

Quest 20:  “Preparations for the Agent.” Charge the Cavalier Honor Guard collection to obtain the World Conqueror.  You can get the medals by defeating various Hyperion forces.

Quest 21:  “Operations Results.”  Charge the Warriors of the Resistance collection to obtain the Snatchin-Partisan.  The items can be obtained by banishing Resistance Fighters found in the Yard.

Quest 22:  “Saving Kate.”  Explore the Hyperion Hall 3 times in Night mode.

Quest 23:  “Battle Wounds.”  Charge the Field Nurse collection to get the Sister of Mercy.  You can find the collection items in any room, but only once.  No multiple items.

Quest 24:  “Meeting the Higher Ranks.”  Heal the General and explore the Bunker 1 time.

Quest 25:  “Training Camp.”  Explore the following rooms 3 times:  Oceanic Room, the Pirate Brig, and Room 51.

Quest 26:  “Under Cover.”  Charge the General Krieg collection.  Combat enemy forces to find the items.

Quest 27:  “Interplanetary Play.”  Explore Room 51 and the Laboratory 1 time to find a bomb.  (You don’t actually find a bomb.)

Quest 28:  “Mission Destruction.”  Explore the Hyperion Hall 3 times in Night mode.

I was given another quest after the last one on your list. I haven’t finished it yet, so I don’t know if there’s more.

#29: Awards Ceremony: Complete the Salute Cannon (#95) and World Conqueror (#207) Collections

Every room I had open was offering the fireworks for the Salute Cannon Collection -#95. (1 each with exclamation points)

All the medals for World Conqueror collection-#207, are available in the Hyperion Hall in expert mode, or as a one time thing (with exclamation points) from the roving soldiers.

Kneht panzer has ‘Serve the Empire’
Grenadier has ‘Ad Gloriam of Hyperion’
Storm Trooper has ‘Hero of the Hyperion’
    Storm General has ‘Hyperion’s Shield’
    Punisher has ‘Steel Hunter’

    Nothing in
    Panzer
    Royal Panzer
    Imperial Zeppelin

Question: how can you tell if your Hyperion Hall has been upgraded? For example, for the crypt, you will see Grigorius standing outside. I don’t see anything like this for Hyperion Hall.

Silly question – is anyone else having a problem with getting the Cartography Tools from the Army Headquarters collection to drop? I know it’s random but come on I’m over 60% through expert mode and haven’t had one drop yet. Ugh!

Since I got quest number 5, I’ve banished at least 8 times the storm generals, but I still haven’t found General Krieg. How many more times do I have to hit the storm generals?

Same for me!! This is my oldest quest by far, had it sitting there literally for months and every time I get 5 of the right weapon I make sure I’m using a turtle charm to banish the storm general but never a general! Any advice?

Rhetorical question-why ask for people to join battle when you have barely any weapons and why join the battle if not going to participate. Isn’t it a waste of keys for both parties?

The snatchin i exchanged with affected the count1/3 but I’ve been banishing the troops and this doesn’t seem to affect it? Can anyone help?

You need to write to Game insight technical support because that should not be happening. your winner box (chest) should appear in your inventory under the chest tab.

Per Kelli 7/21, another quest “Gathering the Reserves” to banish15 Snatchin Recruits. Banish regular snatchins, Bookworm, Eartwisting, Thieving& Hungry. This should be added after your #12 To Arms.
Then the titles for your Quests 15 thru 19 are: (which you will need to re-number per above addition)
15- In Pursuit of the General; 16- Facing the General; 17- Unexpected Allies; 18- Preparations for the Agent; 19- Operations Results.
Also, there is another quest to add after your #14 Maneuvers called “Sturm Hall” to explore Hall with Mist phenomenon 3 times. Do not Banish.
After re-numbering, you will then have a total of 28 which is where I am now and believe it is the last quest in this string. I hope this helps you.

After quest 12 To Arms, I received a quest not listed. Jones the hunter requests “Gather the Reserves” Snatchin Recruits. 15x. Tip:Banish the snatchins wandering around the manor to recruit them for the fight. Snatchins are in no hurry to join the ranks of the brave defenders of the manor and will require some convincing.

Thought I would let you know. Not sure exactly what snatchins yet but will let you know if I figure it out.

Completed quest. Was easy as long as you have enough weapons to give to snatchins. Works on regular snatchins not “special” snatchins like cook or jazz snatchin. After quest was complete next quest is First Skirmish quest.

Where can I get the weapons to banish the soldiers? After completing the first quest, I used all my weapons trying to banish the soldiers to “capture a prisoner” and the prisoner never dropped so I have no weapons and can’t seem to get more weapons

The only way I have been able to get weapons is by exploring rooms and they are few and far between. This takes a lot of patience.

Big apologies! I mis-read ( mis-looked?) what you get when you banish the soldiers. Among other things, you might get a CHARGER for the collections. But I’ve gotten all the chargers I need from drops in rooms.

Does anyone know if or what you need to save up for future quests in this string?

    Again, apologies!

After I completed the I Know Nothing! quest, I got the “The Enemy’s Secret Plans!” quest:

Need to get Steel Legionnaire (coll 204) & Von Braun’s Emitter (coll 202).

“Assemble and charge the Hyperion Weapons collection and Storm Brigade collection. Drive away the Hyperion soldiers and explore the rooms of the Manor to collect the items.”

There’s a Catch-22 to this quest, I think. You have to use the items in Weapons coll. to banish the soldiers to get the weapons to charge that coll! Personally, I’m getting enough drops from the rooms to not have to banish the soldiers (if I’m patient). Also, you can buy the weapons for coins (30k-350k apiece).

I’ve only got these soldiers to banish at my manor:

    Grenadier – 4 x speedshooter
    Storm General – 5 x ash maker
    Storm Trooper – 2 x rifle
    Punisher – 3 x rifle

@ krista…yes that one was tough and took me a while. I finally just left the curses in the others rooms until I only had the hall free. Then charged the constellation of Capricorn collection and used the 3 books to call the mist. It limits your play a bit, but I just wasn’t getting the mist any other way for the hall. Good luck!

Steel hunter – punisher (3 gewehr rifles)
Ad gloriam of Hyperion – grenadier (4 speed shooters)
